Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation’s Advisory Council Joins Founder in Landmark Placement Success at Alva’s Pragati 2026
Leadership from both the Foundation and its Advisory Council come together to celebrate 11 new appointments.

The conclusion of Alva’s Pragati 2026 on the evening of August 8, 2026, saw leadership from Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation take centre stage, as Founder Chairman Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya and Advisory Council member Ms. Sri Anagha KR jointly handed over tentative appointment letters to eleven candidates selected on the spot.
In total, Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation offered 11 on-spot appointments and shortlisted 25 additional candidates during the drive, which is recognised as India’s largest placement event.
The occasion doubled as a homecoming for Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya, an alumnus of Alva’s Education Foundation who completed his pre-university and degree education at the institution. Faculty members and deans from Alva’s pre-university and degree colleges, along with Honourable Chairperson Dr. Mohan Alva and Managing Trustee Mr. Vivek Alva, expressed their happiness at his return, this time as a recruiting Founder Chairman.
The joint presence of the Founder Chairman and the Advisory Council reflects the collaborative leadership approach that Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation brings to its placement and institutional partnership efforts.
